After years working in the skincare industry, Natalie Carollo saw firsthand the long-term damage traditional tanning and sun exposure could cause. At the same time, she became increasingly frustrated by the rushed, one-size-fits-all spray tans dominating the industry. The orange undertones, uneven application, and lack of personalization felt completely disconnected from the elevated experience clients actually wanted and deserved.
So she created CocoGlow with a different vision in mind.
Natalie’s approach to spray tanning has always been deeply visual. Growing up as a first-generation American with dyslexia, she developed an extraordinary attention to detail and instinct for visual balance that would later become the foundation of her work.
Today, that same precision shapes every appointment at CocoGlow, from undertone matching and contour placement to skin preparation and overall finish.
She views every client as entirely individual. Skin tone, facial features, body composition, event timing, and desired outcome are all considered before a single layer of color is applied.
The result is a custom airbrush tan designed to look seamless, polished, and effortless rather than obvious or artificial.
What started inside a small walk-in closet studio has since grown into one of New Jersey’s most sought-after destinations for custom airbrush tanning and event-ready beauty services.
In 2024, CocoGlow expanded into spa services, and in January 2026, the company moved into its newest and largest space in Shrewsbury, allowing Natalie and her team to continue elevating the brand even further.
